the way i see love
is the way i see life
life and love are intertwined
beyond meeting a lover
or admiring a flower
i am learning to see love in everything
i am pretty sure at this point
that i came here to learn to love
and to become aware of all that distances me from love
through the process of unlearning those blockages
i find myself
loving the creation
the in’s & out’s
strangers
lovers
myself
to love is to nurture
it is to appreciate
each person or being
who gave me more than they will ever know
and took a bit of me at every good bye
lovers, friends, new & old versions of me
to love it is to be excited at every new encounter
is to be intimate with the vision
i hold for my life and for humanity
i close my eyes in stillness
when i am all alone
